  This fried chicken is utterly amazing! 18 pc wings on Wednesday for $15.99 is a true steal! Red beans and rice and the Mac and cheese was really good as well. Being from KY, I've been looking for a good fried chicken spot!

  They are slow as hell..they never  fry enough chicken.and  you gotta wait  till they fry.more to place a order.been waiting  20 mintues.should have went to POPEYES!!!!

  so while discussing the #TexasChickenTour & top chicken spots in Houston with my friends, all the ones from the nawfside gaaaaassssssed this restaurant up to the max. we argued and got loud over it so I figured it would be worth visiting myself. I pulled up to this hoe and could smell the chicken getting out of my car. next, I seen a woman with a KFC shirt walking in to order her some chicken. I immediately got excited.

  This is indeed a hood spot so if you fear for your life to order from here...this ain't the restaurant for you. When it comes to food, you should never judge a chicken by it's cover.

  i pretty much ordered everything my curiosity was triggered behind. Im still on the hunt for edible potato salad at a food. so let's get right into it.
  
  Fries: these are those thick mama hood fries. very flavorful. nicely seasoned. easy to run through.
  
  Roll: I was about to get mad because I couldn't see my roll at first. they literally used the chicken to dog pile the roll. I dug my roll up and that hoe was mashed up. i think the heat from the chicken cooked the roll some more cuz the bottom of it was hard as hell. it was aight.
  
  mac & cheese: Bro. finally. A PLACE THAT DOES MAC & CHEESE CORRECTLY! it's cheesy. the noodles are big. nice blend of cheesy and creamy. i had to relax on it cuz I knew I still had more food to eat.
  
  Potato Salad: YESSSSS! Boy this taste like the potato salad you used to be able to buy out of the trunk of one of the missionaries after church. I'd buy a tub of this and bring it around my family and act like I made it. Love it!
  
  The Chicken: I cant hate on this chicken at all. It's appropriately crunchy. there's a subtle spice to it. soft meat (pause). the best Chicken Piece they have here are the wings so I would suggest you get the wing dinner over the chicken dinner. If I'm comparing this to a chicken elite like Frenchy's, I'd say it was a step behind due to the seasoning of the chicken. If it spiciness was a little bit more bolder and flavorful, it would be right up there. They also don't allow you to order white meat chicken, just dark or mixed. thats kinda womp.
  
  Hot Wings: I didn't wanna leave these behind so I ordered some to go. they literally just take their wings and baptize them in their hot sauce. Appropriate for a hot wing lover. Not appropriate for anybody wearing white.
  
  Overall, this spot is definitely worth eating at. It's not THE BEST chicken I've had in life but I would be comfortable coming to revisit this place and knowing i'll get quality chicken. The sides are more impressive than the chicken. They have other sides I'm anxious to try (scratches neck) so I'll be back soon.

  One of the best places to get chicken & fries in town. Not over or under seasoned. Gotta stop by any/everytime I'm on this side of town. I always get the wing basket... can't go wrong it.
